LoL: Spirit Guard Udyr

Alas the next ultimate skin has been released, and as expected by most it is Udyr (which was confirmed a few days ago but hey ho). Anyways, I give you: Spirit Guard Udyr.





These images obviously show each of the stances with a splash for each, not sure the purpose of creating the splash other than release marketing seems as it appears none of the splashes will eb used to display Spirit Guard Udyr in either the shop or the loading screen unless they are actually going to implement .gif loading imaging, which is highly unlikely as obivously it will cause people to have to load the loading screen as well as the game and will generally slow everything down.

This video shows us how the skin works in game and it looks very nice, it's got some pretty huge effects, I'm certainly going to be getting it when I have money -.- but I have been playing a lot of Udyr recently to get good (mainly for this skin ;p) and I have to say after seeing this, I'm pleased that I bothered to do so.

As with pulsefire ezreal you also get a banner and icon. Well... technically Udyr is 4 things, he has 4 forms and all, so why not have 4 banners and icons?



These look pretty nice, I don't have pulsefire ezreal so I don't know how you go about banners and stuff like that, I assume however that it will be possible to have a banner and icon that do not match, even if they are contained within the skin should you wish to. E.g. Have the Phoenix banner with the bear icon. I'll probably be using the turtle icon myself but we shall see.

Another feature within the skin is that as you level up abilities the stances become more visually prominent, or at least they do at rank 5, I'm usnusre currently as to whether this is a gradual change but I'm pretty sure it is, below are images for each stance:

I think personally I'll enjoy being able to literally see my progression through levels which could be quite nice. The only think I don't like is how I'm only any good at Tiger Udyr but LOVE how Phoenix loves, looks like I have a lot of practice to get in :S

Well I'll be going full turtle then, I like green anyway so w/e. Udyr is as viable as he ever is, he's just risky to pick first, he duels well, so the current counterjungle increase is alright for him, but he can't handle nunu :/ ALso, I reckon tiger works better with the wits end sunfire combo due to getting more wits end procs out due to higher attack speed. If you went phoenix you'd need to build more attack speed I think, which does let you take a nashor's tooth yeah, but ti gets very expensive and not very tanky :/ idk

I want to learn undue just got this skin :3

Yeah I've been against some pretty bad Udyr's recently. Unfortunately I find it very hard to do well with Udyr if the other team has one too :/
